The Day of Small Beginnings
Zech 4:10 (NLT) " Do not despise the day of small beginnings for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin... " My friend, Zach and I are tired. Tired of living plastic lives and eating plastic food. We are so tired of making a living instead of making a life worth living. So we are trusting the Lord to make a way for us to live the way He intended when He created us. And so, it begins! The Beginning I have 9 1/2 sprouts in my seed tray and a truly pitiful pile in my compost bin. A small beginning, indeed. Yet, the Lord rejoices that the work has begun because this is so much more than a homestead! The Reason The Lord has given me the dream of creating a place where people can come to know Him, be healed from their trauma and be discipled. He has been training me For this work while living in small, rental homes for the past six years and now it is time to expand. My friend, Zach, is like-minded. Like me, he tends to collect friends who are "birds with broken wings....
